Tanners leave it late at Gate

LEATHERHEAD were unable to lift themselves off the bottom of the table, despite Jermaine McGlashan’s late heroics at Wingate.
The first half was a very slow affair as neither side could breach the respective solid defences.
Wingate’s Freddie Hinds was the first to properly test a keeper, in the 40th minute, with a curling effort aimed at the top right corner but Tanners custodian Jacob Adams was equal to it and held on well.
Leatherhead’s James O’Halloran fired over from distance early in the second half.
