■ BASINGSTOKE held on for three important points in the playoff race against South Park.
The hosts did their damage in the first half, racing into a two-goal lead within 20 minutes as Conor Lynch swept home from close range and McKoy Palmer found the corner of the net from 30 yards. Lynch had missed an open goal inbetween while George Reid narrowly failed to add a third.
