■IN A vital game that both teams needed to win, the  tension seemed to get the better of both sets of players.
Grinstead spurned the first chance of the game when captain Glenn Wilson headed over from a good position.
Phoenix could have scored, but failed to find the target on a couple of occasions.
The visitors’ keeper then Steve Phillips palmed a good strike from Omar Folkes away for a corner. The second half followed the same pattern as the first with clear openings difficult to come by.
