■BEDFONT Sports kept their playoffs alive with a narrow victory at Tooting & Mitcham United.
Midway through the half, Bedfont made their domination pay when they won a penalty. Darryl Sanders took responsibility for the spot-kick and made no mistake.
When Tooting finally got themselves into the game, they couldn’t find a way through. In the 34th minute, low crosses from the left and right caused Bedfont problems but no one could apply the finishing touch.
