■STEVE Lovell tasted defeat in his first game in charge  of the Rams.
The home side had lost their past four games and they suffered another loss, their play-off hopes looking more grim by the week as rivals Haywards Heath took all three points.
Rams made a bright start and forced the visitors on the back foot early on.
