■ TWO second-half strikes from top scorer Zac Ansah gave Herne Bay a possible vital cushion in the playoff hunt and left Sittingbourne to reflect on what might have been.
Johan Caney-Bryan went close twice for the home side either side of half-time break, before the visitors were awarded what many thought was a soft penalty with 20 minutes left – Ansah accepting the gift as he drove the penalty beyond Charlie Taylor in the home goal.
