ASHFORD closed in on a second-place finish and play-off advantage with a win at home against Ramsgate.
It was a brilliant start to the game for Tommy Warrilow’s men, who found themselves in front inside six minutes after a towering header from Tommie Fagg following Frannie Collin’s corner.
But matters were levelled just a few minutes later when former Nut & Bolt, Ben Fitchett, headed home from the edge of the six-yard box.
