SIMPSON’S EARLY STRIKE LIFTS SPARKS

MELFORD SIMPSON’S first-half strike sealed the points for the Sparks in a typical end of season game.
The only goal came in the 12th minute when a free-kick found Simpson who fired home from 15 yards.
Dandre Brown and Nash Doukoure both had good chances for the visitors but shot wide before Bell headed over for Park.
In the second half Dobbs headed wide and Swaby shot straight at McNally for South Park.
Brown hit a post for Ashford and despite their pressure the Park defence stood firm.
