LEATHERHEAD comfortably fashioned the victory over Potters Bar which combined with results elsewhere to lift them out of the automatic relegation places.
Having grabbed an Easter Monday point at Kingstonian with a stoppage-time own goal, there were fewer dramas on their own Fetcham Grove patch yesterday.
The Tanners led on 12 minutes from a penalty rebound. And while the Scholars rallied briefly at the start of the second half, the hosts’ second goal, on 66 minutes, ended the game as a contest.
