MERSTHAM were finally consigned to relegation when Surrey rivals Carshalton inflicted a tenth consecutive defeat on the Moatsiders.
Merstham arguably did not to deserve to lose this scrappy game. And the first half rather summed up their recent run.
They dominated the opening twenty minutes and but for a great save by Robins keeper Lloyd Thomas from Tahjae Anderson, the Moatsiders could have been in front.
