■ IT WAS a good afternoon at Burroughs Park for hosts Great Wakering to close the season with a victory.
Rovers opened the scoring with an assist from the wind when Darnell Mavanga-Kitambo’s cross deflected off Matthew Castellan and went in.
Dereham could of got back into the game if it wasn’t for Rovers’ keeper Jack Riddell who pulled off some fine saves.
Rovers doubled their lead when Billy Johnson curled the ball in to the top corner.
