■ HERNE Bay sealed a home play-off tie on Tuesday night with a comfortable win at now-relegated Phoenix Sports.
Bay dominated throughout and, after testing the home keeper several times in the opening stages, took the lead in the 18th minute from Mike West’s superb free-kick.
Phoenix responded with tame efforts from Toib Adeyemi and Malaki Toussaint, but the visitors were in control throughout the first half.
Soon after the restart Herne Bay doubled their lead when Kieron Campbell cut in from the left and shot under Steve Phillips.
