DUANE Ofori-Acheampong’s unorthodox debut hat-trick gave ten-man Bowers their first win of the season, over Premier newbies Herne Bay.
Ofori-Acheampong’s star-man display included one goal, one assist…and a red card which nearly undid all his previous good work.
He gave Bowers a 13th-minute lead when he volleyed home Bola Dawodu’s knock down.
However, The Bay were level 90 seconds later, after Hassan Jalloh’s strike was deflected past Bowers keeper Kie Plumley.
