BILLY Crook became Cray’s super sub when his 92nd-minute goal gave the Kent outfit their first three points of the season.
Crook made the difference eight minutes after coming off the bench, when he glanced home a Dan Bassett cross, to bring Canvey down to earth after their big midweek win at Brightlingsea.
The game looked like being a tight affair from the start and Cray just about edged the first half.
