IAN Gayle and Ade Yusuff struck very early to give Folkestone victory.
And while visitors Wingate finished with ten men, Invicta were grateful for that start at the finish.
Gayle opened the scoring, and his Invicta account, when he headed in Kadell Daniel’s second-minute near-post free kick.
It 2-0 on six minutes, when central defender Gayle’s header from Scott Heard’s deep corner was headed off the line but then headed in by Yusuff.
