HARINGEY salvaged a point after Corinthian Casuals had raced into an early two-goal lead.
However, the hosts squandered a late spotkick chance to turn the worst possible start into the best possible finish. Both teams sought to bounce back after midweek defeats. And Boro soon had to bounce back even higher as Casuals flew out of the blocks.
They led on 11 minutes when Erald Desa showed good tenacity as he drove into the box and his great cutback was dispatched calmly by the on rushing Luke Stokoe.
