SITTINGBOURNE edged the first Swale derby courtesy of a goal from a Faversham old boy.
Harry Harding’s first goal for the Brickies nine minutes from the break proved decisive after Nathan Wood had put the visitors ahead with a fine angled finish.
The lead though was wiped out by Henry Dasofunjo’s thunder bolt ten minutes from the break before Harding struck 60 seconds later. The visitors had their chances, but found home keeper Matt Cafer in fine form with the best save coming from a low drive from Bradley Schafer.
