UNBEATEN Heybridge Swifts maintained their impressive start to the season with a home win over East Thurrock.
East Thurrock started the quicker of the two teams but were unable to trouble Heybridge keeper Callum Chafer.
In the 33rd minute, inform Andy Fennell cut in on his right foot but his attempt rattled the East Thurrock crossbar.
Ben Sartain then picked up the ball up 25 yards out and placed a shot perfectly into the bottom left corner to give Heybridge the lead.
