LOWESTOFT maintained their 100% start to the season, but visitors Maldon & Tiptree were unlucky not to gain their first point.
The Jammers looked by far the better side in the first half and it was against the run of play when Lowestoft took the lead in the 24th minute, Jake Reed turning in Adam Hipperson’s cross at the far post.
Brad Ihionvien was a constant threat to the Lowestoft defence and, within a minute of them falling behind, he hit the Lowestoft bar from 40 yards. He eventually levelled the score...
