■ A GOAL for new boy Charlie Ten Grotenhuis set Hanworth Villa on course for a first league win of the season at the expense of ten-man Thatcham.
Ten-Grotenhuis, who arrived from Bishops Cleeve earlier this week, took less than a minute to scramble home the opening goal.
The hosts doubled the lead when Sam Merson found space in a crowded box to squeeze the ball home. However, Ashley Howell’s disputed penalty halved the deficit right on half-time. A tense second half saw Thatcham substitute Corey Hathaway sent off for an over the ball tackl...
