■ ASHFORD United moved up to second in the table  after prevailing at Littlehampton in a match that ended on a sour note.
Joe Benn hit a post for the hosts early on, but it was Ashford who went in front through George Nikaj.
Littlehampton responded swiftly – with Joe Benn picking out the far corner superbly.
But Ashford made the most of their chances, with Ommar Lawson seeing a deflected effort go in, before Gary Lockyer converted a penalty in first-half added time.
