■ PONTEFRACT stormed to a convincing victory to move into the play-off zone.
The first-half was very much one-way traffic, with a three-goal salvo putting the visitors well in command.
Firstly, on the quarter-hour mark, Adam Priestley headed home a cross from James Baxendale. Then, Jack Shepherd was on hand to finish a long throw from the left flank.
To compound a miserable period for Cleethorpes, Gavin Allott fired into the roof of the net.
