THE Kingfishers gifted SCR a third-minute lead when Joshua Adjei side-footed Jephte Tanga’s right-wing centre into his own goal.
McKoy Palmer then struck two 25-yard free-kicks in quick succession, the first was tipped round the post by Endurance Johnson, with the second narrowly over.
Thatcham levelled after 68 minutes when Sutton keeper Johnson fluffed a drop-kick and David Nyarko pounced to roll the ball into an empty net.
