■LEADERS Northwood made it six wins out of six at home as they overcame a battling Thatcham to maintain a seven-point gap.
Both sides had chances in the opening 20 minutes with Sydney Ibie and Josh Helmore going close for Woods while Andrew McCorkell saved well from the the Kingfishers’ Joshua Edwards.
But it was Northwood who took the lead after 29 minutes as Ergys Pepaj finished off a short-throw routine.
