SOUTHALL picked up the three points in a close encounter at the Robert Parker Stadium.
The home side dominated the first half and scored two early goals courtesy of Lewis Putman, who cut in from the wing before hitting a shot past the keeper, and the second by Anthony O’Connor from a header Southall had numerous chances and were disappointed to be only two up at the break.
Binfield came back strongly in the second half but, apart from a 69th minute goal from Kai Hobbs, the home side managed to hold on to their lead and even had a couple of late ch...
