■ FREEZING weather failed nto stop an entertaining afternoon as Bedfont Sports saw off fellow strugglers Merstham in a six-goal thriller.
Sports started brightly when Steve Ngunga’s free-kick put the home side ahead after 23 minutes, but Merstham levelled almost immediately when Ore Bello smashed home.
Kaine Kennedy restored Sports’ lead, but Merstham again drew level through Bryan Zepo after 72 minutes.
They now looked in control, but then Steve Ngunga made it 3-2 to Sports with a wicked shot from 25 yards.
