■ BECKS got back to winning ways with a win over visitors Lancing. Two goals from Rob Carter, another from his central defensive partner Mudi Wanogho and a penalty from Steve Townsend made the difference. Midway through the first half Carter lashed home the opener after good work between Harvey Brand and Stefan Cox saw a cross spilled by the Lancers keeper.
