■ LEAGUE leaders AFC Sudbury continued their run of victories at Witham Town’sSimarco Stadium with two goals from Josh Mayhew.
There were no significant chances until the 22nd minute when during a prolonged Sudbury attack, three shots were blocked and a penalty was awarded. Mayhew converted the spot-kick against his former club.
Witham fought back well at the end of the first half. David Hughes in the Sudbury goal had to save from Rash Salau and a header by Witham’s Farai Tsingano went wide.
