Soares scored a debut winner as ten-man Marlow came from behind to beat Guernsey.
Soares stepped up to slot home from the spot 11 minutes from time to settle a thriller in which the visitors lost Curtis Ujah to a straight red in the second half.
Naheer-Omar Nawaf ’s neat finish gave Marlow the lead, but Guernsey struck twice in the space of three minutes, first through Ross Allen, before Samuel Murray’s shot completed the turnaround.
