BASINGSTOKE held off a spirited Merstham side to record their tenth victory in 11 games and extend their lead at the top.
Brad Wilson almost opened the scoring inside two minutes, seeing a hooked volley headed  off the line but he did find  the net ten minutes later,  calmly volleying home Sam  Argent’s dinked pass.
