MO Ceesay made the difference as Thatcham took all three points against Tooting & Mitcham United.
The first half was a closely fought affair in tricky conditions at the Stacatruc Stadium. Thatcham had a golden chance from the penalty spot just before half-time, but Jordan Alves effort was saved by Dan Purdue who did well to also block the rebound.
The match turned after 53 minutes when Tooting & Mitcham were reduced to ten men following a second yellow card for Bangura-Williams.
