BOTH sides worked extremely hard in this Essex derby, but it ended in stalemate with both defences in good form.
Neither team seriously troubled the goalkeepers in the first half, but the home team had the better of the chances in the second half with Ross Wall’s header just missing the top corner three minutes after the restart.
Blues’ Sam Park had two good efforts, shooting just wide in the 65th minute and then hitting the ball straight at Callum Chafer in the Swifts goal nine minutes later.
