■ ROSS ALLEN was Guernsey’s hero, netting a hattrick of equalisers in a thriller at Footes Lane.
Jonathan Hippolyte opened the scoring for the Curfews after 22 minutes, finishing neatly. Three minutes later, Allen was fouled in the box, picked himself up and converted the spot kick.
After 29 minutes, Chertsey regained the lead when Bryan Taylor went on a mazy run before scoring.
Allen grabbed his second, ten minutes after the interval, running onto a through ball and beating Nick Jupp.
