■ BURY TOWN’S long wait for a league goal now stretched to five games after Gorleston collected all three points.
Carlos Edwards tested the visiting keeper after 12 minutes when his corner went close to the crossbar. Charley Barker saw his shot from close range saved well by Jake Jessup after 30 minutes.
Gorleston won a penalty in injury time which Connor Deeks fired too close to keeper Charlie Woods who made a great save. Both sides had chances second half but it was a beautiful strike that won the game.
