SWIFTS started the game strongly and took the lead after ten minutes.
Matt Price played a neat pass to find Rob Harvey who applied a brilliant finish. The Swifts’ lead was doubled in the 34th minute as a corner was headed towards the goal by Sam Carter and deflected into the bottom corner.
Price then missed a big chance towards the end of the first half.
New signing Sam Park saw an attempt cleared off the line early in the second half while Rob Harvey nearly added his second, but was denied by a strong save.
