IN A game of few chances, Maldon & Tiptree had the best of the first half with Harry Phillips going the closest with a long-range shot from outside the box in the eighth minute.
When Rovers did manage to get the ball into the Maldon box, they were unable to pick anyone out.
The second half saw Terrell Egbri cause havoc down the left-hand side but Maldon & Tiptree had the same problem as Rovers did in the first half by not being able to find the perfect ball.
