Blues hold on to beat Town

BILLERICAY Town had their slim play-off hopes dented with an underwhelming 1-0 home defeat to an improving Wingate & Finchley, who extend their impressive run of results.
The visitors were the better side in the early proceedings. They had the chance to open the scoring on the 17-minute mark when Dylan Kearney was sent through on goal but Harry Seaden was there to save his effort.
The Blues prepared very well and were hard to break down, limiting the Billericay attack to few chances.
