LEADERS Basingstoke clocked up their 14th successive win to maintain their lead at the top – but it was only by the narrowest of margins.
The visitors began in confident fashion against Northwood and caused a few issues for the hosts’ defence.
And they grabbed an 18th-minute lead when the impressive Ben Cook hooked home from close-range after a corner was only half-cleared.
