■ THE CURFEWS made a late comeback to steal a point after a bright start saw Ashford Town go two up inside twenty minutes.
The Tangerines hit the ground running in the first half, Mohammed Hassan opening the scoring after just five minutes. Within 18 minutes more positive play resulted in a deserved second goal for the hosts, Ricky Johnson netting after a knock-down from Dan Brown.
Chertsey continued to press after the break as Ashford sat further back to defend their lead.
