■ BURGESS Hill narrowly lost at home after Chatham Town’s goalkeeper sensationally scored before being sent off, the Chats finishing with with nine men in a display of all the joys of Non League football, on Non League Day.
Chatham had already had Dean Beckwith sent off in the 23rd minute after he handballed following Dan Perry’s breaking run.
Burgess Hill played very well against both 11 and ten men, but couldn’t find a first-half break through.
