AN UNINSPIRING game saw Corinthian Casuals run out narrow winners, keeping alive any faint hopes of avoiding the drop into Step 4. Finlay Lovatt’s late first-half strike, after a good run-and-finish, was the difference between the sides in an encounter that could and should’ve seen more goals.
The visitors almost scored straight from the off, as Leslie Duru broke away only to see his attempt tipped over the crossbar by an alert Louis Chadwick.
