TWO goals in seven second-half minutes saw promotion hopefuls Canvey Island secure their fifth consecutive league win, away at the Maurice Rebak Stadium. In a drab first-half, the closest either side came to scoring was a deflected effort by Canvey’s Conor Hubble from 30 yards out.
