RAMSGATE pinched a point with a late TJ Jadama goal, but it wasn’t enough to stay at the top.
Rams were attacking the Town end in the first half, but early action was very tense, with both sides showing nerves and not settling into the clash.
Rams settled, though, with a series of corners and free-kicks in dangerous areas, but it was Beckenham who had the first chance when they broke and crossed for Steven Townsend to score in the 19th minute.
