Match Preview: Concord Rangers v Billericay Town (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Billericay Town travel to Thames Road for Tuesday’s late match against Concord Rangers looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Isthmian Premier Division.

Billericay, who sit third in the league after 30 games, fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Horsham on Saturday.

They face a Concord side who also lost their last match, a 2-1 defeat to Dulwich Hamlet, and who sit 20th in the table.

In the last 10 years, Concord and Billericay have played each other on six occasions. Concord won three of them and they drew three times.

On average, the Beach Boys scored 1.8 goals and Billericay 0.8 in those matches.

Their last meeting was on January 2 2022, when they played out a 0-0 draw.

With 23 goals in 24 games so far this season, Concord are the league’s lowest scorers with 1.0 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 45 goals at a rate of 1.9 per game.

Billericay, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game. They have conceded 0.9 goals per game.

Rangers are in disappointing form in the Isthmian Premier Division, with one win and three draws from their last six games.

With two wins and four losses over that period, Town’s form is similar – they have both taken six points from 18.
