ASHFORD United retuned to winning ways with victory over Littlehampton at the Homeands.
Ashford had the best of the opening exchanges with Lanre Azeez and Harvey Brand going close.
At the other end, Josh Short saw a good effort well saved by Ashford keeper Chris Lewington.
Ashford took the lead in the 21st minute when good work by Noah Carney found Azeez on the right and he crossed for Robbie Rees to score what eventually turned out to be the winning goal.
Littlehampton had a chance to equalise in the 75th minute....
