AN early goal was enough to settle this match for ten-man Gorleston. Jacek Zielonka’s pressure on a Felixstowe defender led to a poor clearance which was collected by Ryan Curtis. He took a touch then fired low into the goal.
Zak Ford was denied twice for the visitors before the break and, seven minutes into the second half, the game seemed to turn in Felixstowe’s favour when Gorleston’s George Keys was sent off for his second yellow card following an off the ball incident that also saw Felixstowe’s Joe Whight booked.
