LANCING 1
PROMOTED Southern Counties East Premier champions Deal Town opened their campaign with a comfortable win over Lancing.
Ben Chapman broke the deadlock in the 16th minute and Rory Smith added the hosts’ second goal after 34 minutes.
Ashley Miller made it three, four minutes before the interval, when he converted a cross from Tom Chapman with one touch. Lancing brought on substitute Nalan Lisbie as a replacement for Harry Scott Docherty in the 79th minute and he reduced the deficit from the penalty spot on the stroke of full time.
