■ MET made the perfect start when debutant Wilson Burnel fired in a screamer in the 17th minute. It was no more than the home side deserved as they dominated proceedings.
But the Met were down to 10 men in the 33rd minute when captain Ben Mendoza was sent off for violent conduct following a throw-in incident. The loss of the skipper clearly had an effect on the home team who were made to pay.
