■ THE Vale took on the Baggies for their first home league game of the season and eventually ran out easy winners.
They recovered from an excellent first-half strike by Badshot Lea skipper Lamin Ceesay to score twice to lead through Olly Soloyinbo and Jake Gallagher.
Ceesay then had a chance to equalise five minutes into the second half but his shot flew over the bar. The Vale increased their lead through Jermaine Green before a late Jordan Gallagher brace condemned the visitors to successive 5-1 league reverses. They next face leaders Horndean ...
