■ TWO teams who were promoted through the play-offs last season battled out a goalless draw at Mayfield Stadium, but it was an entertaining game that only really lacked a goal.
Tom Collins and Kadell Daniel both had good chances for the home side, with Daniel twice being denied by good saves from keeper Nathan Edwards.
Late on in the game Erith’s Aaron Jeffery saw red for a second bookable offence, although it was late in the game.
